Every teen will be assigned to a daily project that will teach marketable skills such as carpentry, plumbing, fencing, working and training horses and dogs, home and auto repair and maintenance, cleaning, cooking and the care and feeding of animals. These activities will be supervised by individuals skilled in the aforementioned activities. This program helps the boys replace negative behavior with positive, useful skills.
Community projects teach working together for the good of the community, caring for others, responsibility and how to help others less fortunate than themselves. Some of these projects include shoveling snow for the the elderly or handicapped, cutting, hauling and stacking wood for families that are in need, cleaning up trash at local parks or volunteering some time at the local food bank or homeless shelter.
